It’s a sunny spring day in Ashland. The daphne on the deck has dropped its blossoms and is busy growing bright green new leaves, readying itself for a glorious display next year. My beloved “regular” maple tree sprouted those little dangly green things and miniature leaves. The Japanese maples are showing deep red leaf growth. And on and on all over town. I can’t help but smile a lot.

On April 23, Dromenon participant Maxine Williams is our Cameo Guest. Maxine has many talents including Professional Scenic Designer and is currently a painter for Saturday Night Live. Maxine volunteered last quarter and promptly had to work a bunch of Fridays. It’s a lovely co-incidence that it’s Shakepeare’s Birthday.
